On Saturday, July 1,

at 1 PM at Green–Wood Cemetery- 25th  Street    

And Fifth Avenue Brooklyn, NY- for the unveiling of a

Bronze Bust of General Meagher

With brief speeches by various participants, including Hilary Beirne,

The Honorary Chairman, Jeff Richman, the Green-Wood

Official Historian, Lieut. Col. Don Makay, the Commanderof the 69th

, Sculptor,  Michael Keropian, and Waterford‘s

President Peter Albert McKay, and others, with a reception

To follow at Green-Wood’s Historic chapel- and finally a

Special 2 hour ($20.00) guided tour by Mr. Richman.

    The assembly point will be at the American flag at the 

Main Entrance to Green-Wood Cemetery at 25th Street 

And Fifth Avenue-Brooklyn- where a trolley will be waiting

to take the participants to the Meagher Commemoration

site. Please Note Well: The Meagher site is a good distance

from the Entrance to Greenwood- best reached by auto.

There will be a Month's Mind Mass for Martin McGuinness in St. Patrick's Cathedral on Monday April 24, 2017 at 6:30 PM.

April 24th is also significant, as it is the 101st Anniversary of The 1916 Irish Easter Rising.

Please join us in the Cathedral to pray for the soul of Martin McGuinness, the heroes and martyrs of the 1916 Rising, and Peace with justice and honor for all of Ireland.

Many Irish American Organizations will be participating in this Mass.
